Egg Dropping

Last Friday (the 13th, no doubt), the 3rd grade had an egg drop.  The principal, Mrs. Smith, was up on the roof of the school tossing off the students’ egg-protecting creations.

Jane Anne, being true to her green self, made her egg holder out of stuff from the recycle bin.  She wrapped the egg in a piece of an old egg carton, wrapped that in tissue paper, and then stuffed it into a foam-lined tissue box.

The verdict:  the egg survived!!  I love to watch her creativity and the fun things she learns at school.
