Wandering Dublin

We’re kind of a big deal around here.

So right after I uploaded my computer crashed. Still have my trusty iPad, though.

For my own memory, I’m going to go ahead and blog about what we did, and then I’ll add pictures next weekend when we are back in Oxford (I might have lost pics from today, but will have them from the rest of the trip).

We went to St. Patrick’s Cathedral Garden — where St. Patrick baptized Irish Christians in the 5th century. There’s been a church on the site for about 800 years.

Then we went on a walking tour with the students and ended up at Trinity College and saw the Book of Kells — an illuminated gospels from the 9th century. Stunningly beautiful.

The girls really enjoyed hanging out with the college students and playing in an ongoing game of tag (where Molly at one point tags a random woman on her backside).

Hopefully, the rest of the picture I took this day make it into the “cloud” before my computer crashed, but even if I lost those, then that’s all — everything else was backed up — which is not a bad loss.
