A Flat Tour

We are in London today, so I thought I’d give a little tour of our flat so people can get a sense of where we live.  We live in the basement of #10 Canterbury Road.  This is the door to the main part of the house.  We usually go in this way and then down the stairs, but we also have our own entrance off to the right.

Here’s the entry.

And the hall — off this part of the hall are the kitchen and bathroom

The bathroom

Then the hall opens into this larger area, which has the door to the living room, the storage room (on the left in the picture), the girls room (on the right), our room, the study, and the stairs up to the rest of the house — another faculty apartment, classroom, computer lab on the ground floor, and student rooms on floors 2 and 3.

JA wrote about the girls’ room here

which leads into the backyard

We have plenty of room and feel spoiled to get to be here!
