(I would really encourage you to click on two links below — you’re in for a little treat.)
This week Jane Anne went to a day camp at ACU called Kid Quest. Each day they played silly games, did outdoor art, swam, bowled, ate lunch in the Bean, and learned about Jesus. Let’s just say she slept GREAT every night!
She said the funniest part of camp was when they were pretending to ride a train and a pretend tornado came OR when they were surfing and doing hula dancing. Her favorite things were swimming and bowling. She said the thing that made her happiest was when they went to tell their own stories. She said some of the things she told about were how beautiful the earth is and how she put her laundry up
The theme of the week was “One Way,” and they learned that Jesus is the only way to the Father.
Here is her memory verse: John 14_6 J
While JA was at camp, I thought it would be splendid if Molly and I worked on potty training. Last Friday, she and I went to Target where she picked out a potty, Ariel panties, Skittles for pee-pee, and a big Cinderella “poop present,” that remains unopened on the entertainment center. Well, let’s just say that I cleaned up A LOT of accidents this week and she’s back in pull ups today. We’ll try again after a short break. If she wants to do ballet starting in September, which she has been asking to do for a year, she has to be potty trained, so we’ll see.
I just can’t post pictures of her on the potty; I won’t do that to her, but I will post these pics of her avoiding the potty…
Meanwhile, here’s what she did learn: M-O-L-L-Y
